The Plastic Polyhedral Hollow Ball is a new-type high-efficiency tower packing composed of two hemispheres that assemble into a hollow sphere. Each hemisphere contains twelve half-fan-shaped blades, and the upper and lower blades are arranged in a staggered pattern. This polyhedral design prevents the packing from bridging or creating hole effects during stacking, ensuring even gas and liquid distribution throughout the bed. Manufactured from chemically resistant thermoplastics including PP, PE, PVC, CPVC, RPP, and PVDF, it offers excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and organic solvents across a wide temperature range. The hollow spherical geometry provides large surface area, high voidage (84%–92%), and low gas flow resistance, promoting efficient mass transfer and reaction. It is widely used in water treatment, CO₂ removal in power plants, desulfurization, oil-water separation, wastewater treatment, and gas purification towers, and is produced in accordance with HG/T 21556.3-1995.
