Plastic Chevron Mist Eliminator is a corrosion-proof gas-liquid separation device engineered for the most aggressive chemical environments. Constructed entirely from formed PP, PTFE, PVDF, or FRP vanes arranged in a precise zigzag pattern, it separates entrained liquid droplets from gas streams through inertial impaction. As the gas flows through the tortuous vane path, the heavier liquid droplets cannot follow the rapid directional changes and strike the vane walls, where they coalesce and drain downward via integrated collection pockets. Its all-plastic construction provides absolute immunity to acids (including hydrofluoric acid and aqua regia), strong alkalis, and chlorinated solvents—making it the essential solution for acid pickling lines, wet chlorine drying towers, FGD scrubbers, and semiconductor-grade chemical processes where stainless steel or alloy demisters would be destroyed in days or weeks.
