Plastic Alpha Ring Product Description
Plastic Alpha Ring is a high-performance second-generation random tower packing, an optimized evolution of the traditional Pall Ring, engineered to enhance uniform gas-liquid contact and boost the efficiency of industrial separation and mass transfer processes.
It delivers key advantages including high void ratio, low pressure drop, and high mass transfer efficiency—along with enhanced structural stability, uniform liquid distribution, excellent anti-fouling performance, and a high flooding point, making it ideal for high-load intensive scrubbing, absorption and separation operations.
Constructed from corrosion-resistant, heat-stable plastics (PP, RPP, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, PTFE), it performs reliably in operating temperatures ranging from -20°C to 150°C (PP: ≤100°C, PVDF/PTFE: ≤150°C). Compared to conventional Pall Rings, this packing offers larger flux capacity, lower energy consumption, and easier loading/unloading for long-term stable operation.
Widely applied in absorption towers, scrubbers, distillation columns, waste gas treatment systems and water treatment projects, it suits petroleum, chemical, chlor-alkali and environmental protection industries—including acid gas removal, VOC stripping, desulfurization, decarbonization and wastewater treatment processes.
