The PFA Pall Ring is a high-performance random packing injection-molded from perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) resin, a fluoropolymer that offers the highest combination of chemical resistance, thermal stability, and purity among melt-processable plastics. The geometry mirrors the classic Pall ring design—cylindrical with two rows of open windows and inwardly bent tongues—which ensures excellent gas-liquid contact and low pressure drop. PFA is virtually inert to all chemicals, including boiling acids, alkalis, solvents, and oxidizing agents, and it maintains mechanical integrity from cryogenic temperatures up to 260°C. These properties make the PFA Pall Ring essential for ultra-high-purity processes in semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, and fine chemical synthesis where metal contamination or polymer leaching cannot be tolerated.
