The PVDF Pall Ring is a premium random packing injection-molded from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), a high-performance fluoropolymer with a unique balance of chemical resistance, thermal stability, and mechanical strength. Unlike standard plastics such as PP or PVC, PVDF withstands continuous operating temperatures up to 150°C and resists a broad spectrum of aggressive chemicals including wet chlorine, chlorine dioxide, sulfuric acid, sodium hydroxide, and halogenated solvents. The classic Pall ring geometry—cylindrical with two rows of open windows and inwardly bent tongues—ensures excellent gas-liquid contact, high voidage, and low pressure drop. These properties make the PVDF Pall Ring indispensable in chlor-alkali plants, wet chlorine drying towers, strong acid scrubbing, and other demanding mass transfer processes where standard plastic packings would degrade or fail.
