The Plastic Super Intalox Saddle is a high-performance random packing that represents an evolutionary improvement over the standard Intalox Saddle. Its defining design change is the transformation of the smooth curved side surfaces into serrated shell-like edges, with additional holes that connect the inner and outer surfaces. This modification increases the free flow channels within the packing, promotes liquid distribution and surface renewal, and enhances fluid communication. The result is a packing with higher treatment capacity, lower pressure drop, and better mass transfer performance than the standard saddle ring. Manufactured from heat-resistant and chemically resistant thermoplastics—including PP, RPP, PE, PVC, CPVC, and PVDF—it is widely used in petroleum, chemical, chlor-alkali, coal gas, and environmental protection industries, particularly in desulfurization, absorption, and scrubbing towers.
