The PTFE Pall Ring is the ultimate corrosion-proof random packing, injection-molded from 100% virgin polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It retains the proven Pall ring geometry—a cylindrical body with two rows of open windows and inwardly bent tongues—which ensures high voidage, uniform gas-liquid contact, and low pressure drop. PTFE is chemically inert to virtually all substances, including aqua regia, hydrofluoric acid, boiling sulfuric acid, and all organic solvents, and it maintains mechanical integrity across an extraordinary temperature range of -100°C to +260°C. Its non-stick, ultra-smooth surface resists fouling, scaling, and product adhesion, while extremely low extractables make it suitable for high-purity pharmaceutical and electronic chemical processing. These properties make the PTFE Pall Ring indispensable in chlor-alkali plants, strong acid scrubbing, and absorption towers where metal, ceramic, or standard plastic packings would be rapidly destroyed.
