The Plastic Pall Ring (Cross Rib Type) is a high-performance random packing manufactured from injection-molded engineering plastics. Its defining feature is the cross-shaped internal rib structure (井字型加强筋), which divides the ring interior into four quadrants, significantly increasing mechanical strength and crush resistance compared to standard Pall rings with米字型 or simple internal tongues. The cylindrical body is punched with two rows of windows and inwardly bent tongues—and in some versions, horizontal stripes are added to the internal ribs to further enhance liquid distribution and structural rigidity. This optimized design achieves an excellent balance of high voidage (>91%), low pressure drop, and efficient gas-liquid contact. It is widely used in degasser towers, scrubbing towers, absorption columns, and desulfurization systems across chemical, metallurgical, and environmental protection industries, conforming to HG/T 3986-2016.
