Plastic Tri Pack Product Description
Plastic Tri Pack (also known as Hacketten Ball / Tri-PAC) is a high-performance hollow spherical random tower packing, engineered to optimize gas-liquid contact and enhance the efficiency of industrial separation and biological treatment systems.
It delivers key advantages including high void fraction, low pressure drop, and high mass transfer efficiency—along with uniform fluid distribution, excellent anti-fouling performance, and strong mechanical strength, making it ideal for intensive scrubbing, filtration and mass transfer processes.
Constructed from corrosion-resistant, durable plastics (PP, PVC, CPVC), it performs reliably in operating temperatures ranging from -20°C to 120°C. Compared to traditional Pall rings or Raschig rings, this packing offers larger flux, lower energy consumption, and easier loading/unloading for long-term stable operation.
Widely applied in air scrubbers, water treatment systems, biological filtration tanks and gas-liquid separation columns, it suits environmental protection, chemical, wastewater treatment and petrochemical industries—including VOC removal, desulfurization and biological aeration processes.
