The Plastic Intalox Saddle is a high-performance random packing whose saddle-shaped design represents a fundamental improvement over traditional ring packings. Manufactured from heat-resistant and chemically resistant thermoplastics—including PP, PE, PVC, CPVC, and PVDF—it features a unique arched structure with rectangular contact surfaces at both ends. This design prevents the packing from interlocking or entangling, ensuring optimal randomness and surface area within the packed bed. The internal fingers, arches, and vanes promote intimate gas-liquid contact with minimal drag or holdup. Compared to plastic Pall rings, the Intalox Saddle delivers higher flux and lower pressure drop with comparable or better mass transfer efficiency. It is extensively used in scrubbing towers, absorption columns, stripping units, and cooling towers across the petrochemical, chemical, chlor-alkali, and environmental protection industries, manufactured in accordance with HG/T 21556.3-1995 standard.
