The Ceramic Foam Filter (CFF) is a high-performance filtration medium specifically engineered for the foundry industry. It is produced by impregnating a reticulated polyurethane foam with a ceramic slurry (consisting of ceramic powder, binders, sintering aids, and suspension agents), followed by high-temperature sintering to form a rigid, three-dimensional, open-pore network structure. This unique structure enables the filter to effectively remove non-metallic inclusions, slag, and dross from molten metal streams, significantly improving the quality of castings.
