The Metal Pall Ring is a classic high-performance random packing, developed as a direct improvement over the metal Raschig ring. Its cylindrical body is punched with two rows of windows and bent inward to form multiple internal tongues. This structure greatly increases the open area, improves gas-liquid contact, and reduces pressure drop compared to earlier ring designs. Manufactured from 304, 316L stainless steel, or carbon steel, the Metal Pall Ring offers excellent mechanical strength, thermal stability, and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial mass transfer applications—from vacuum distillation to high-pressure absorption.
